One day a few women decided to enjoy a Saturday morning with each other on the golf course. Because they rarely took the time to play and it sounded like fun, the word spread quickly and the group grew to twenty. Before the golf “event” (the word “tournament” sounded too serious for this group of hard working women), they all exchanged their bios and contact information and were humbled and excited about their collective business acumen and experience. The women were excited about getting to know each other and it wasn’t long before they reconvened at a 5-course wine dinner at a restaurant owned by one of the women. Once again, the word spread that there was an exciting and fun group of women meeting and exchanging business between themselves and so forty women signed up for the dinner. By the next golf event, the network had doubled again to over eighty women. What had started as the Women’s Golf Network quickly evolved to the Women’s Global Network.
Today, the Women’s Global Network meets monthly and events include golf, dinners, cruises, music and content rich panels guaranteed to help women grow their businesses. WGN is a support community of women who respect each other, working in integrity and who want to ensure the success of every member.
