At this event, WGN members will meet to  network and get to know each other as they work with the chef of the RMH cooking and serving a home-cooked meal for Families staying at the RMH during challenging and difficult times.  WGN members Act Locally and Give Globally and they understand that the basis of all relationships, whether they are business or social, is a friendship and the chance to grow more intimate relationships. 

Meals are an important part of any household. They provide a setting for families to spend quality time together and dinners at the Ronald McDonald House are no exception! Families have the chance to relax around a home-cooked meal and get to know the other families who are going through similar situations.  One of the many goals is to offer the families a dinner every night of the week. Not having to prepare their own meal after a day at the hospital gives families one less worry during this difficult time in their lives. Additionally, they have a chance to connect and spend time with other families in similar situations.  Registrants should arrive at 4:30pm to prep and heat the meal.  Note: if you can't be there the entire time, please type that in your RSVP “Comments” section and commit to a certain time so we can schedule accordingly. During dinner service, we will be serving the meal while interacting with the families and keeping the children busy with arts and crafts. As a group, WGN will be donating both food and craft supplies to the Ronald McDonald house by way of the registration fee.

Those interested in having dinner together afterward to exchange business cards and ideas will be meeting at the Pampas Argentine Grill after leaving the RMH.
